Wetting Whistles At Brunch

She raised her voice and read:

“In the bottom
of a large pitcher,
muddle together

ginger,
mint leaves
and lime wheels

with vodka.

Pour a bottle
of prosecco
into the pitcher
and fill with ice.

Serve cold.”
