i think fog unwraps itself
to show what lives beneath
takes off its clothing graceful slow
removes its wispy sheath…
and naked the earth stretches out
languorous and sure
and becomes whole as I look on
my hurt heart’s ever-cure

I’m reading your poems chronologically backwards this morning and it makes for a peaceful/mournful/peaceful flow. You know how I feel about nature, and I cherish the words you always find to describe it. Gorgeous!
Thanks Michelle…I just put one up that is not “truly” a poem…it is a snapshot inspired by the stark and noble vid that I posted at the bottom, and I resolved to do a quick flow of come what may and post as is…
Not like my other things really, but I like having some half carved things lying about.
I don’t know if you followed my FB flow of posting old poems?
I am gonna email you a few links
thanks as always for being my friend AND being present
I haven’t seen the FB flow – I’ll have to go back and look. But, yes! I do appreciate when you send me the links – I can focus better 🙂
